#MenToo: male victims of workplace sexual harassment share their shocking stories It’s not only women who are sexually abused at work. The Sunday Times Magazine reports on a new frontier in the #MeToo movement “He just went straight for me,” Kamran says, “grabbing and twisting my tie and pushing me up against the nearest wall. He then jammed his face in front of mine and started spewing poison" Some of the data on sexual misconduct in the workplace is alarming. A study found that 18% of men had experienced some form of unwanted sexual behaviour in the workplace Here’s another shocker: despite the high rates of assault against gay men, the man-on-man abuse that Kamran suffered is rarer than woman-on-man abuse: 76% of the men who were sexually assaulted report that a woman was the perpetrator Illustration by @lukebrookesart for the Sunday Times Magazine

"Once people saw The Office, where Tim was this likeable character, they thought they had a handle on me. People carry that with them.” Martin Freeman often plays gentle and kind, which means his new Sky sitcom, Breeders, is a jolt. “Paul is as close to me as I’m likely to play,” he says. “There’s so much of me in there, for good and bad. Mainly for bad, actually.” Read the full interview at the link in our bio

"Andy Warhol had a big dick. I reveal this immediately for three reasons. First, to sound an appropriate note for Blake Gopnik’s 976-page whopper of a biography, a tome so intimately informed that it is impossible to imagine its depth of detail ever being out-mined. Second, because the artist’s sex life is a key focus of the book. Third, and most important, because it’s a question that nobody is asking." Warhol spent his career hiding his private life from the world. Blake Gopnik's exhaustive biography lays bare an artistic genius, from his sex life and eccentric mother to lies about his aristocratic background. The first person to die of coronavirus outside Asia has been confirmed in France.

The UK government is working on the assumption that half of Britons will be infected with coronavirus if China cannot bring it under control soon.

A “reasonable worst case” scenario anticipates hundreds of thousands of deaths and intensive care units forced to make “hard choices” about prioritising people.

However, even in the worst pandemic only 1 per cent to 4 per cent of those infected would need hospital treatment.

Venice Carnival is in full swing with many attendees wearing elaborate costumes and traditional masks.

The masked balls of eighteenth century Venice Carnival were filled with lust, intrigue and the odd pointy dagger.

There is hardly any murder at all now in St Mark’s Square but music, theatre, acrobats and dance fills the square and festivities work along the canals, over the bridges and in the palaces all in gorgeous costumes (masks, cloaks and tricorn hats) from when Venice was decadent capital of Europe. It might be too cold for lust though.
